Muscaria
Muscaria is a species of the fungi Kingdome, it’s a mushroom, most muscarias grow in the Nordic forest, also muscaria grows in northern America, Alaska, or some places in South America. Muscaria with its flashy coloration, named fly agaric, the muscaria mushroom is one of the most poisonous in the world, it contains muscarina and other poisonous toxins. This mushroom can produce damage in the central system on humans if ingested in anyway, this muscaria mushroom is capable of destroying kidneys, livers and muscles. The poisonous symptoms can appear eight or twelve hours after ingested. Some times the toxins in muscaria are deadly and can drive you to death. The difference between edible and non edible mushrooms is not based on scientific concepts, there are a lot of mushrooms in the world, but not all are edible, and a large part of the mushrooms are fleshy and bitter. There are some species that may produce death but they’re a minority. There exist approximately two hundred species of poisonous mushrooms in the whole world, but some of them are edible for some reason, an example is the muscaria, most of them are extremely poisonous as the amanita, but in some cases it too is edible, because its toxins produce some changes in the brain when ingested, some of this changes are delirant and hallucinogenic, that's why lots of people prefer to eat this “poisonous” mushroom. The toxins contained in muscaria are the muscarina, monomethildracin, ibotenic acid and muscimol. The muscarine has given the name of fly killer to the muscarina because when the flies stand on the mushroom they get intoxicated and crash into trees or die not far away.
The flies killer (muscarina mushroom) is located at the shore of the forest and occurs at the beginning of the summer until the first freeze. Muscaria is the final name of the amanita genus, because there are a lot more species in the family of the amanitaceae.
Muscaria is used for its euphoric effects in many places around the world, so it’s easy to identify it, the mushroom hunters use as an indicator, the bright colors that can be seen in the distance so they know they have found a muscaria mushroom.
The muscaria mushroom contains the same toxins as all the other species. The other species are muscaria flavivolvata that occurs from southwestern Canada through the sierra Nevada and the rocky mountains to the mountains of the desert southwest and at least as far south as the montane oak forests of Costa Rica. The species are associated primary with oak and diverse conifers, but they grow up in the conifer areas in northern Europe, but can be spotted with other deciduous tree genera. The muscaria mushrooms are psychoactive which contain psychoactive chemicals as ibotenic acid and muscimol. They have a long history of use in Asia and northern Europe (the Vikings used to eat muscaria mushroom before geting in fights or invading lands). They are best known for their distinctive appearance (bright reds and yellows with white spots). The muscaria is a pretty good looking mushroom and if it’s used as indicated may be really helpful in cancer treatments or diabetes diagnose.
